This weekend has been spent catching up from last week... on sleep, facebook, emails, relaxing...
Today I went to my first movie with Sabina and Dominika. They do in fact play American movies but with French AND German subtitles. We saw the movie Fair Game (true story about a women in the CIA). Anyway, so we're watching the movies (ignoring the subtitles) and part of the movie is in Iraq. They start speaking in Arabic. Do they put English subtitles for the Arabic... NO. So I'm listening to Arabic and "reading" French and German subtitles. Luckily, it wasn't too long of scene so I could still follow the movie. It was to say the least a very multi-cultural movie experience.
